I didn’t want to stop with my momentum in Marvelous Designer so I’ve gone ahead with the outfit from episode 2 which is exciting. I’m getting ahead of myself in my thoughts, but I think I want to switch it up with models eventually to test my prowess as well. Maybe get some random models from Scan The World or the like.

In episode 2 Cardcaptor Sakura wears this outfit. The cape obstructs the area around her shoulders for the whole episode so that part of the outfit is up to my interpretation, but basically I needed to learn how to make a one piece swimsuit, a cape, gloves, and a beret. It’s gone faster than the first outfit.

The gloves have been the trickiest part so far. Looking at this picture of the flat pattern cutouts was easy enough to understand, but it was more working with the character’s hands and MD that was the challenge.
